Provolone Piccante is a semi-hard Italian cheese aged for at least four months and is known for its smooth skin. It can come in a variety of shapes and sizes including pear shaped, sausage shaped and bottle shaped. Provolone Piccante has a buttery yet sharp taste due to its ageing and is also more pungent as a result. This product works great with antipasti or as dessert cheese.
